This project was initiated by Liina Klauss (www.liinaklauss.blogspot.com) an illustrator from Hong Kong. In 2011 she has raised awareness and money for Japan by printing the ‘I love Japan’ T-shirts. For the 'I love Japan' book she teamed up with her project partner Anna Dabrowski (www.anna-dabrowski.com), a graphic and product designer from Berlin. Anna is responsible for the book design.

Jazz is the Teacher Funk is the Preacher

About the title

I was inspired by the tile of James Blood Ulmer's song "Jazz is the Teacher Funk is the Preacher". The way I create my work is improvised like a Jazz Musician. The final result of my creatures and the multiple echoes of accent elements definitely relates to Funk. "May the funk be with you!"

On the tables this night will be "A la Funk" and "Dr. Getdown" playing some tunes to groove to.

Sitting and watching the rain pour. The clouds weep and the gods fight. He’ll above the earth rinses the dirt from the heaven of gravity. Let it rain let it rain.

Pop up blocker

Let’s sit and watch the ocean for lunch break. That’s a relaxing and fitting thing to do when in Barcelona. Wow this feel great pop up “would you like a soda”, pop up “would you like a massage”, pop up “would you like a sandwich”, pop up “would you like a beer”, pop up “would you like a soda”, pop up “would you like a massage”, pop up “would you like a sandwich”, pop up “would you like a beer”, pop up “would you like a soda”, pop up “would you like a massage”, pop up “would you like a sandwich”, pop up “would you like a beer”. That was my relaxing lunch at the beach. I will develop a beach pop up blocker and give away for free. I think this could my great contribution to society. I just have to find the right name.
